2011 will be the sixth year for Washington Bark Day, a special day for dogs in historic Washington Park.
Bark Day is a fundraiser for local non-profit organizations in Milwaukee related to dogs and the parks. This year Residents for Off-Leash Milwaukee Parks and Friends of MADACC are the organizers and beneficiaries of the event.
This year, with the addition of Friends of MADACC, Washington Bark Day will add a walk through the historic park as a fundraiser. Participants in the walk will walk through this special Milwaukee Park with their dogs, starting and ending at Bark Day.
